Circuit Theory II

Course Objectives

The course covers advanced circuit analysis techniques and composed of two parts. The first part focuses on AC circuits and examines basic circuit elements, op amps with AC sources. AC power is analyzed. Three phase circuits, balanced and unbalanced systems are analyzed in this part. Frequency responses of circuits are studied and active/passive filters are introduced. The second part examines Laplace and Fourier transforms and studies their applications in circuit analysis. Two port networks are also studied.

Prerequisites / Corequisites

Students should have passed EE 2001 Circuit Theory 1 class/Students should take this course along with EE 2004 Circuit Theory 2 Laboratory

Students are required to clearly disclose any use of AI tools in their work. The final solutions, analyses, and interpretations must be produced by the student. Any violations will be handled in accordance with the university’s academic ethics regulations.
