Course Contents

The aim of this course is to enable students to use English effectively and critically in academic and professional tourism contexts. It focuses on developing analytical, evaluative, written, and oral communication skills.

Visual, textual and audio materials and handouts will be selected by the course instructor in cooperation with the School of Foreign Languages. This course does not require students to buy a course book.

Students are expected to adhere to the principles of academic integrity. All work must be original, and sources must be properly acknowledged. Artificial intelligence tools may be used only for supportive purposes and in accordance with the instructor’s guidelines; submitting AI-generated content as one’s own work may be considered a violation of academic integrity.
