To provide students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills regarding the principles, physiological effects, indications and contraindications of therapeutic massage and classical massage techniques, and to develop competence in planning and performing safe and appropriate massage applications on different body regions.

Violation of academic integrity includes, but is not limited to, cheating or attempting to cheat, plagiarism, presenting false information or citations, facilitating dishonest actions carried out by others, obtaining examinations without authorization, using previously completed work without informing the instructor, and altering another student’s academic work. Any form of violation of academic integrity constitutes a serious academic offense and will result in consequences under the university’s disciplinary regulations.
