Course Objectives
It is aimed to teach students the basic concepts of microbiology, general characteristics of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, biological activities and structures, classification, pathogenic mechanisms, infection and transmission routes, host response to infectious agent, anti-microbial therapy, basic immunology, sterilization and disinfection methods.

Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence
Violations of academic integrity include, but are not limited to, cheating or attemoted cheating, plagiarism, presenting false information or citations, faciliating dishonest acts by others, obtaining exams without permission, using previously completed work without informing the instructor and altering the academic work of other students. Any violation of academic integrity is a serious academic offense and will result in consequences under the University's disciplinary rules.
